NNP Needed in Ohio

A very unique opportunity for NNPs who would like to work in a BPD unit in Central OH!! The hospital is looking to staff the unit 24 hours per day, rotating or straight nights (12-hr shifts). The 28-bed unit is in a prominent Children's Hospital with all subspecialties represented. The BPD Center has a very novel approach to the care of the patients. There is a dedicated group of NNPs and in-house Neonatologists who have a special interest in the patients and who emphasize continuity of care. Any necessary sub-specialty in put--OT, PT, nutrition, etc is also available. A pulmonary clinical research program is being conducted to study the growth of the lungs. Developmental and family centered care is also stressed; the parents are present and very much included in the care of their children. The hospital is also looking to expand NNP coverage into the BPD follow up clinic as well. The NNP for this position is one who is experienced and enjoys working with chronic care patients (as the unit features a Chronic Care Model). Salary based upon experience. The benefit package also includes a $5,000 sign on bonus and relocation allowance (with an 18-month contractual agreement) Experienced NNPs are preferred, but new graduates will be considered as well.
