Manager of NICU in Nevada
Description/Purpose Of Position:
Responsible for the 24 hour management of the assigned unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience and a minimum of two (2) years progressive management experience.
License/Certification:
Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current ACLS Certification. Current NRP Certification. Current BCLS Certification.
Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department
This position is responsible for approximately 52 FTE’s in a 19-20 bed NICU.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of manager level experience in a Level II and Level III NICU. We are looking for someone with a stable work history and experience working in a large acute care facility.
