NNPs and Neonatal PAs Needed in Utah
at Kelly Linkous-Rushing, Linkous & Associates, LLC in Utah, US
NEW OPPORTUNITY IN UTAH TO JOIN A HOSPITAL SYSTEM with a NNP/PA GROUP which provides coverage for: A 60 bed Level III NICU in a free standing Children's Hospital; a 48 bed Perinatal Center with 6-7,000 deliveries, and a 12 bed Level IIB NICU--- All subspecialities including cardiac surgery and ECMO are represented in the Children's Hospital. It is the only hospital in the system with residents. The group has 48 NNPs/PAs and 20 Neonatologists. The NNPs rotate between the 3 units, and the Neonatologists cover both the Children's Hospital and the Perinatal Center with Pediatricians covering the 12 Bed Level IIB. 24/7 coverage is provided in each hospital; the NNPs work 12 hour rotating shifts. No transport responsibility. GREAT LEARNING ENVIRONMENT!! This is a very collaborative practice which emphasizes flexibility and team work.
WILL HIRE NEW NNP GRADUATES!!!
They will provide a 3 month orientation. New grads do not work nights for 6 months to 1 year. They are also not on their own for 1 year. MSN + NCC is mandatory, but new grads can get an interim license while waiting to sit for the NCC.
THEY WILL ALSO HIRE EXPERIENCED PA CANDIDATES!!
Very competitive salary with a relocation allowance.
The hospital also offers a NNP Loan Repayment Program. Full-time NNPs are eligible for up to $3,000 per year towards repayment of Graduate School NNP loans.
