Neonatologists to Karolinska university hospital, Danderyd units
at Karolinska university hospital in Stockholm, Sweden
Vacant short- and long-term positions for qualified neonatologists are available at Karolinska university hospital, (Danderyd NICUs), from January 2011.
The two Karolinska NICUs located at Danderyd hospital serve the largest delivery hospital in Sweden, with 10.000 deliveries annually (almost 10% of all newborns in Sweden!).
The units are categorized as level-2 NICUs, which includes care of in-house newborns from 27 weeks. The units combine highly developed NICU strategies, with internationally well-regarded family-centered care and NIDCAP strategies.
We primarily search for Swedish-speaking doctors from Sweden or other Scandinavian countries, but German-speaking neonatologists from EU countries may get language education in Swedish, organised by the hospital.
Long-term positions at the Danderyd units may include rotations to the highly specialised level-3 units at the Karolinska university hospitals in Solna and Huddinge.
